College Park Veterans Memorial
This weekend is a busy one with quite a few events.
Veterans Days is on this Sunday, November 11. There will be a special ceremony at 11:00 am at the College Park Veterans Memorial at Route 1 and Greenbelt Road. You are invited to join Mayor Andrew M. Fellows and the College Park City Council at this year’s observance of Veterans Day with tribute to the men and women who have served our country.
As I mentioned earlier, City’s Committee for a Better Environment (CBE) will hold a workshop on “Reduce, Recycle, Reuse” . Please see here for details.

Also, The College Park Arts Exchange, Department of Public Works, and arts specialist Aaron Springer invite you to the 2nd Annual America Recycles Day Sculpture Workshop. This day-long arts workshop will be held on Saturday, November 10th from 10 am to 4 pm and is for mixed age groups to build a person-sized sculpture out of recyclable materials. This event will take place at Davis Hall.
