The City of College Park is inviting residents to help shape the future of the Hollywood neighborhood through a special Community Vision Walk focused on placemaking and public space improvements.
This interactive event will bring neighbors, community members, and local stakeholders together to walk through the Hollywood neighborhood, share ideas, and identify opportunities to reimagine public spaces in ways that strengthen community connections and neighborhood identity.
Placemaking projects can include improvements such as gathering spaces, public art, landscaping, pedestrian-friendly features, seating areas, and other enhancements that make neighborhoods more welcoming, vibrant, and engaging for residents of all ages.
The Community Vision Walk will take place on Saturday, May 9, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., beginning at the Hollywood Farmers Market located at 9803 Rhode Island Avenue in College Park.
This is a great opportunity for residents to directly share their ideas and perspectives about the future of the neighborhood and help guide future community enhancement efforts.
Participation is limited to 60 people, so early registration is encouraged.
