From the University of Maryland’s Division of Student Affairs, Conferences and Visitor Services:
Between today (May 28) and June 7, fourteen high schools from Prince George’s County and Montgomery County will hold their graduation ceremonies in the Xfinity Center. Parking for the ceremonies will be in surface lots surrounding the Xfinity Center and the Terrapin Trail Garage.
Members of our campus community should expect heavier than normal traffic and significant delays at the Campus Drive/Baltimore Avenue and Paint Branch Drive/University Boulevard intersections.
Please listen to 103.5 WTOP or follow @UMPD on Twitter for the most current traffic information.
It’s expected that each ceremony will last no more than two hours but the duration may vary, as will arrival and departure times of the participants. Please plan for heavy traffic delays as visitors arrive and depart these events and budget extra time for your commute.
