After the long summer recess, the NCPCA will be meeting again tomorrow. Here is the brief agenda:
The meeting will start will a discussion on 9909 Baltimore Ave, aka the infamous Spooky House. There has been a new proposal to build a medical office there. This is an option in addition to other options which include to buy the property and turn it into a public space, such as a park.
Members will also discuss a new parking zone 2-B restriction around a large area near the Greenbelt Metro Change to allow daytime parking for non-permit holders.
Representative of Carrollton Enterprises, which owns shopping center that includes MOM’s and REI will make introduction.
Members will then discuss Green Streets program to construct stormwater infiltration ‘Rain Gardens’ etc. on residential streets. Input and concerns of residents now sought to guide plans.
Members will also discuss new sidewalks on Hollywood Rd, plans for US 1 Bypass to U.M. from Beltway, and more.
As usual, the meeting will be at Davis Hall, starting at 7:30pm. See you all tomorrow.
