Meet the Vendors: Alcoba Coffee |
|
Jose Castillo, Guatemalan agronomist turned urban farmer and herbalist, has been living in Maryland for the past 28 years where he started Alcoba Coffee! Keeping Alcoba in the family, their coffee beans come from the Jalapa Mountain Range where his brother, Donaldo, farms the land and harvests the beans from fertile, volcanic soil. The beans are then shipped to Baltimore where Jose begins peeling and roasting the beans at the Centro Ashe Farm in Ackokeek, MD. Available in three roasts (medium, dark and mixed)! Click here to learn more about Alcoba! |
