Jordyn Trail-Fowler is a Maryland State Finalist in the National American Miss Pageant and is raising money to attend the nationals.  She will be selling hand crafted bracelets and key chains. Stop by her table and help support her efforts.  Best of luck Jordyn!
Senior Saturday
Our next Senior Saturday will take place on August 12th. If you are 65+ and reside in College Park, please stop by the Market’s information table to receive $5.00 in market coupons to use only on August 12th.  

Micro chipping
College Park Animal Control (Ms. Vivian Cooper) with the support of the Cities Animal Welfare Committee will be at the Hollywood Farmers Market, 9801 Rhode Island Ave, next to the former REI store on Saturday, August 12th to provide FREE micro chipping for resident’s cats and dogs.  Those residing outside of the municipality of the City will be charged a nominal $20 fee.  Donations will be also accepted; i.e. food, cat litter, toys, etc.

On Saturday, August 12th a representative of the North College Park Starbucks will be at the market to give out used coffee grounds for composting.  These grounds are nitrogen rich and will add most of the nutrients to the compost pile.

If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a vendor for our market please let us know.  We are always looking for more vendors. Our criteria is that the items have to be hand made.  If you prepare food- we are looking for other prepared food vendors.  Lastly, we are looking for a bread vendor.  If you know of a local company that would like to sell bread at our market please stop by the market’s information table to speak with either the Market Manager or one of the Market’s Board members.
