|Vol. 3 Issue 4 – Happy (early) Mother’s Day!|
As the postal workers trudge through rain, sleet and snow – so do the Farmers Markets. Many of our vendors will take a break this weekend but our produce vendors, meat and prepared foods will be there from 9-1.
This weekend starts our Senior Saturday program. There will be $5.00 coupons for senior citizens (65+) with proof of ID of age and that you live in College Park. Please stop by the Market Information Table for your coupons.
Heavenly Created Desserts will be back to the market on May 20th. Baker Charley will return soon as well.
On Saturday, May 20, the City of College Park will host a clean up of the North College Park area from 9 to 11am. Those interested, please meet at the Farmers Market for a light breakfast. Pizza will be served after the event. All who participate will receive an ‘I love College Park’ t-shirt. Please visit the Facebook site for more information. https://www.facebook.com/events/1720546341571300/
Also, next weekend, A member of the College Park Arts Exchange will be at the market to offer button making to our customers. Come by and participate in this fun activity for all ages.
