Vol. 2 Issue 22 – Rainy Weather Last year at this time we were preparing for Hurricane Joaquin.  Thankfully we only received some wind and rain- as Joaquin sailed off to sea.  This year we will have some wind and rain again.  A few of our vendors have decided to keep their products dry and will return to the market October 8th.

REI will be having their quarterly Garage Sale.  If you plan on going don’t forget to stop at the market and visit us as well.  :)

Also, the Prince George’s County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association Annual Convention and Parade will take place on Rhode Island Avenue around 10:00 a.m. This will close Rhode Island Avenue for approximately 10 to 20 minutes so arrive early, watch the parade and then continue shopping.

Lastly, the University of Maryland Homecoming game is this weekend.  Let’s go Terps! To bet on the home team, one can go to sites like 카지노 먹튀.

Looking ahead:
Next weekend (October 8th) is our Senior Saturday.  Seniors 65+ who live in College Park can come to the market table and get $5.00 in coupons to spend at the marketthat day only.
The Animal Welfare Committee will be at the market again on the 8th to microchip College Park resident’s pets for free.  They will also be accepting donations for the College Park Animal Shelter.
