As we gather with family and friends this week, I am filled with gratitude for the privilege of serving this remarkable community and for all that we’ve accomplished together — from strengthening public safety and advancing major projects like Duvall Field, the Hollywood Streetscape, and a new College Park Community Center, to supporting local businesses, restorative justice efforts in Lakeland, and programs for our youth and families.
We are fortunate to live in a beautiful city with so many amenities, from our parks and trails to Lake Artemesia, our community spaces, and our vibrant small business districts, all enriched by our strong partnership with the UMD, County, State and other partners. Above all, I’m grateful for you — our residents — whose kindness, engagement, and dedication make College Park the special place it is.
