The Taste of College Park 2026 Kick-Off Event takes place on Friday, July 17, from 4:00–8:00 PM at City Hall Plaza, launching ten days of delicious dining experiences across the city.
The free kickoff celebration will feature a lively atmosphere with a live DJ, Maryland food vendors, and a variety of local artisans offering art, apparel, jewelry, and accessories. Visitors can also enjoy a fun, hands-on “Make It” bar and pick up free Taste of College Park merchandise from the City of College Park Economic Development Department while supplies last.
The kickoff event marks the beginning of Taste of College Park, running July 17–26, when participating restaurants throughout the city will offer exclusive specials and promotions. Whether you’re discovering a new favorite restaurant or revisiting a longtime local gem, this citywide dining promotion is a great way to support our local businesses and experience the diverse culinary scene that makes College Park unique.
