Metro track on Sunnyside avenue
Sunnyside Avenue will be closed to traffic at the railroad crossing on or about Monday, September 16, 2013 and will reopen to vehicular traffic on Monday, September 23, 2013. The road will be temporarily closed while CSX replaces a defective rail at the crossing.
Detour signs have been posted to direct traffic. From Route 201/Edmonston Road, traffic will be detoured to Powder Mill Road and then to Route 1/Baltimore Avenue.
