College Park is gearing up for an exciting day of collegiate cycling as the Route 1 Rampage returns on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please be aware that several streets in the Old Town area will be temporarily closed to accommodate the race.
Closures and restrictions will impact portions of College Ave, Rhode Island Ave, Knox Rd, and Yale Ave. During the event, vehicle access and parking will be limited, and pedestrians will only be able to cross the race route when it is safe to do so.
🚗 What You Need to Know:
• Expect traffic delays throughout the day—please plan ahead
• Some residential driveways will remain accessible via nearby side streets
• Zone 6 permit holders: Move your vehicles to the City Garage (4509 Knox Rd) starting Saturday, April 18 at 6:00 p.m.
• Any vehicles left along the race route after 5:00 a.m. on Sunday will be towed
This event brings energy and activity to our community, but it also requires a bit of extra planning for residents and visitors. If you’ll be traveling in or around Old Town that day, give yourself additional time and follow posted detour signs.
