I hope you and your family are safe following yesterday’s storm. We had widespread damage throughout the City due to several downed trees. Multiple downed trees on Huron street, 51st ave (in front of the DPW) and other locations took down power lines.

According to Pepco, the latest ETA to get power back in east Hollywood is 4 pm. The West Hollywood and the Sunnyside neighborhoods got power last night. Beltsville and some parts of Greenbelt also have power.

City crews are working to clear up damages throughout the city. All City offices are closed to the public today until the power is restored. UMD classes are also canceled today.
