At around reported at 11:30 pm last night, the UMD police reported an Off-Campus shooting in the 7700 Baltimore Ave near Campus Dr. Police asked to avoid the area and adhere to Police directions.
At 11:50 pm, the police updated the incident with further information. The suspect was described as a black male with a handgun, wearing a black jacket that is puffy. Carrying a black shoulder type of bag with the writing, “super drive” on the side. Unknown to the suspect’s direction of travel. Officers from PGPD and UMPD are looking for the suspect. Police continue asking us to stay away from the area.
At 12:30 am, the UMPD further updated that Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating this incident. Officers will continue to remain in the area. Police advised suspicious activities to the police immediately.
Based on investigations and a shooting incident reconstruction report, four or five people may have suffered non-life-threatening gunshots in this incident.
