Construction is set to begin this week on the Ruatan Street Complete & Green Streets Sidewalk Project, stretching from Rhode Island Avenue to 48th Avenue. This long-awaited improvement will enhance safety, walkability, and green infrastructure along this important neighborhood corridor.
As work begins, please pay close attention to all posted parking restrictions, especially those marked on the orange barrels. Following these signs will help keep the project on schedule and ensure a safe work zone for residents, pedestrians, and construction crews.

I used to live right there in the house on the right side of the picture…now that the dead end is blocked off from cars…it would be a great place to put a sidewalk! I think also in certain parts of Hollywood and Duval Field adding a workout park….IJS
