Last night, our community gathered for the City of College Park’s Mayor and Council Inauguration — a moment filled with gratitude, reflection, and renewed commitment. I am truly humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve another term as your Mayor. Thank you for your trust. I look forward to continuing our work together to strengthen our neighborhoods, support our families, and build a brighter future for College Park.

During the ceremony, we offered our heartfelt thanks to outgoing Councilmembers Llatetra Brown Esters (District 2), Susan Whitney (District 2), and John Rigg (District 3). Each of them has made meaningful contributions to our city, and we wish them the very best in their next chapters.

We also welcomed three new Councilmembers to the dais: Kelly Jordan (District 2), Holly Simmons (District 2), and Dan Oates (District 3). Their energy and dedication are already evident, and I’m excited to work alongside them. Additionally, Councilmember Maria Mackie (District 4) was appointed Mayor Pro Tem for this term.

Please join me in welcoming our newly inaugurated Mayor and Council. With collaboration, integrity, and a shared vision, I’m confident we will continue moving College Park forward.
