I’m pleased to share an important upcoming event for federal workers in our community. Congressman Glenn Ivey and Prince George’s County Council Chair Jolene Ivey are hosting a Public Servant Summit on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Greenbelt.

This summit will bring together representatives from various unions, legal aid organizations, mental health resources, and more to support our dedicated public servants. It’s a great opportunity for federal employees to connect with key resources, ask questions, and gain insights into the challenges and benefits of public service.

If you or someone you know is a federal worker, I encourage you to attend and take advantage of this valuable gathering.

Privacy Release Form for Constituents
Additionally, an important resource has been made available for those concerned about immigration enforcement. A Privacy Release Form (PRF) specifically for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been provided by Congressman Ivey’s office.

This form should be filled out and kept on hand by individuals who may be at risk of ICE detention. If detention occurs, the completed and signed form will be required in order for the congressman’s office to request information about the individual’s detention location. Without this document, obtaining necessary details from ICE becomes significantly more difficult.

For further guidance, the district office should be contacted. Assistance and additional information can be provided upon request.
