Tue, Jul 25, 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM, City Hall, 4500 Knox Road, College Park, MD
Thu, Jul 27, 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM Davis Hall, 9217 51st Avenue, College Park, MD

Join the City in one of two Public Safety Town Hall Meetings lead by the Police Foundation. This meeting is located at Davis Hall. The meetings are designed to gather College Park residents’ perspectives about policing in the City

Currently policing in the City is carried out by members of the Prince George’s County Police Department as part of their regular patrol, Prince George County officers under contract to the City, University of Maryland officers in some parts of the City adjacent to the campus, officers from the National Capital Parks Police in their parks inside the City and WMATA officers near the metro stations

We would like to provide residents an opportunity to comment on the following:

Do you this system of policing is adequate for the city?

What changes, if any, do you think should be made?

Other cities have their own police department. Do you think this would be a good idea for College Park? Why/why not?

What other comments do you have about policing in College Park?
