Please see below last week’s crime report.
The 9700 Blk 51st Pl. incident involved an armed robbery. Two unknown masked armed suspects forced entry through the rear basement door and demanded money before ordering the victim to face down on the ground. One suspect fired a round into a stereo system. The suspects then fled out the same entry route and no one was injured. It is unknown at this time if any items were taken. K9 Unit responded to conduct a track with negative results. During the track, an officer was injured with a possible broken wrist. CID and evidence responded and are investigating.
