Old Friends School - a possible site for College Park Academy
A College Park Academy parent-focused meeting will be held at the College Park City Hall (in the Council Chambers – upstairs) – 4500 Knox Rd., College Park, MD., on Monday, January 9th 2012, from 7:00 to 8: 30 PM.
In this initial meeting, the College Park Academy planning committee will present the concept of the charter school to prospective students’ parents, as they have a chance to ask questions and address any issues or concerns.
Supportive materials about school will be provided at the meeting.
The plan as of right now is to make it open to grades 7-9 in the 2013-2014 school year, and then expand to grades 7-12 by the 2017-2018 school year.
