The City of College Park is now accepting nominations for the annual Jack Perry Award — an honor that recognizes residents who go above and beyond to serve our community.
Named after former Councilmember John Edward “Jack” Perry, who dedicated 26 years of service to College Park, the award celebrates individuals who make a lasting impact through civic engagement, neighborhood leadership, community building, and efforts to improve public spaces and quality of life in our city.
Every community has people who quietly volunteer their time, help neighbors, organize events, support local causes, and work to make College Park a better place for everyone. The Jack Perry Award is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate those individuals.
Eligible nominees must be at least 18 years old and either a registered voter or legal resident of College Park. Nominations may be submitted by residents, neighborhood associations, or organizations between May 15 and July 15.
Nominations should be submitted in writing to the City Clerk’s Office at 7401 Baltimore Avenue, Suite 201, College Park, MD 20740, or by email to cityclerkoffice@collegeparkmd.gov.
If you know someone who has made a difference in our community through service and leadership, I encourage you to nominate them.
