Hogan Says Yes to Purple Line


Governor ogan today announced that he wants to move ahead with Purple line, provided the Prince George’s and Montgomery counties share some of the cost. Here is the complete news.

    The PDF lists where Maryland will be spending $845 million over the next few years. Though the timeline on construction isn’t exactly a surprise (it entered the engineering phase in 2013: http://www.diamondbackonline.com/news/local/article_6ed002da-9691-11e2-89a2-0019bb30f31a.html), it’s great to see that there is money and that there is a set time to break ground.
