The City of College Park’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee is asking residents, students, workers, and visitors to help identify locations where new or upgraded bike racks are needed throughout the community.

As more people choose biking as a healthy, affordable, and environmentally friendly way to travel, having safe and convenient places to park bicycles has become increasingly important. This community survey is an opportunity for residents to directly shape future bike infrastructure improvements across College Park.

The survey asks participants about their relationship to College Park, age range, and bicycling habits, and then invites them to select locations where they would like to see additional bike racks installed or upgraded.

Some of the proposed locations include:

  • MOM’s Organic Market
  • Paint Branch Elementary School
  • Lakeland Park
  • Al-Huda School
  • Hollywood Elementary School
  • Rita’s Italian Ice
  • Lucky Strike
  • Krazi Kebab
  • Game Kastle
  • Berwyn Park
  • Hollywood Neighborhood Park
  • Tacos a la Madre
  • and many more locations throughout the city.

The survey also allows residents to suggest additional locations that may need bicycle parking improvements.

This is a great opportunity to help make College Park more bike-friendly, safer, and more accessible for everyone. Whether you are a daily bike commuter, a recreational rider, a student, or someone who occasionally bikes to local businesses and parks, your feedback can help guide future improvements.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and share it with friends, neighbors, and anyone who bikes to or within College Park.

Thank you to the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee for continuing to advocate for safer and more connected transportation options in our community.
