Bomb squad on Edgewood
In case you have noticed police / FBI activities at Edgewood / Rhode Island Avenue intersection, Here is what happened.
I went to the scene and spoke with Police information officer Mark Brady. Police found a hazardous device at one of the houses near Rhode Island avenue corner. The device has been deactivated and the police is questioning folks at the house.
“Residents are safe in the area”, I was told.
Mark also told me that the incident could be related to another incident near 48th avenue, where police found a pipe bomb early this week.
