Greenbelt development shadow on north College Park's single family houses (at 8:00 am)

I want to thank everyone who went to the hearing.
We should really be concerned about the north and South core developments of Greenbelt sector plan. These two developments are located adjacent to my district. Though they are in Greenbelt, if you look at the map, you will see only residents who live within quarter mile radius of these two developments are north College Park residents in our neighborhood .
We support smart developments – developments that are compatible with the residential nature of the single family houses in north College Park. We supported the 2001 sector plan envisioned just that. It included hotels, town houses , shops and parks, where our residents and families can go and have a good time there. However 2012 plan is quite different. Its vision includes huge development with as big as 20 story fortress like structures and noisy / polluting highways very close to our neighborhoods.
