GSA to Host Public Meetings on FBI’s Future Sites

Last week, the General Services Administration announced there will be four hearings to discuss potential sites for the new FBI headquarters over the next month. These meetings are public open houses where residents can meet with GSA planners to learn more about the project while “identifying issues and potential impacts associated with the FBI Headquarters Consolidation.”

Prince George’s has been working to increase the geographic diversity of the federal office selection process for many years, and we appear on track with the FBI project to bring a major agency within our borders. However, a strong showing at our local site hearings would help maintain momentum and show our commitment to bringing the FBI to Prince George’s. Please consider attending the local hearings for the project on Sept 23 and Oct 2 to show your support.

The meeting for the Greenbelt site near the metro station will be next Tuesday, Sept 23nd from 5:30p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Greenbelt Branch Library (11 Crescent Road, Greenbelt MD 20770)

The meeting for Landover will be on Thursday October 2nd from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Sports & Learning Complex at (8001 Sheriff Road, Landover MD 20785).

If you also wish, feel free to attend the hearings for the current sites in Virginia and the District:
