Get Ahead of the Winter Freeze!

The weather is going to be very brutal today and in the coming days.
Here are some tips to help you prepare for the winter, courtesy of the National Fire Protection Association!

  • Have your furnace inspected and serviced by a qualified professional every year
  • Have chimneys and vents cleaned and inspected by a qualified professional.
  • Make sure your portable space heaters have an automatic shut-off and are plugged directly into an outlet at least three feet away from any flammable materials
  • Don’t forget to test your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms!
