Fire Chief Bashoor
The PGFD/EMS Chief Bashoor has recently announced his retirement as of March 1, 2017. Here is what he said about his “interim” replacement Chief Ben Barksdale.
Chief Ben Barksdale will serve as the interim Chief of Department, and prospective permanent appointee. I have served with Chief Barksdale on life safety conference planning committees, and expect that he will be a dedicated and effective leader of PGFD/EMS.
