Next Wednesday June 28th, or before, the NZI Construction Inc., working for the City, will begin replacing curbs along 51st Avenue between Lackawanna Street and Hollywood Road.
NZI Construction Inc. is WSSC contractor doing the repavement work
The work is being performed on this street in preparation of it being resurfaced by WSSC this summer.
Door hanger notifications were distributed yesterday afternoon.
Construction barrels and cones will be placed along one side of the street with “ Emergency No Parking” notices on them prior to the start of the construction. Only one side of the street will be worked on at a time.
We’d like to hear your experiences during the street re-pavement work, so that the WSSC contractors do not make the same mistake in future projects elsewhere in the city.
