Council to Review of the City’s Emergency Operations Plan

At next week’s Council meeting, the City Council will discuss City’s Emergency Operations Plan (EOP), which provides guidance to City staff and elected officials for emergency incident preparation, response, and recovery / remediation.

The EOP has been revised time to time since it was developed the annual snow removal plan.  The City first implemented an overall, all departments, emergency operations plan (EOP) in preparation for potential Y2K

The proposed 2017 edition of the EOP includes staffing informational updates, inclusion of new communications coordination procedures, and correction of any grammatical or typographical errors.

Ronald Gill, Director of Emergency Management, Prince George’s County will join the discussion.
