City Council has allocated $1.25 million in ARPA funds for essential repairs and renovations at Attick Towers, a senior housing facility operated by HACCP. This funding and approximately $615,000 from other sources will address critical building system and common element needs, such as plumbing, elevators, boilers, and HVAC systems that can be handled by exceptional HVAC professionals. Individual unit renovations will be funded separately. A Subrecipient Agreement with HACCP, similar to previous agreements, is necessary to meet US Treasury reporting requirements for ARPA funds. The Council approved this agreement at its Tuesday meeting.

Additionally, a project manager is recommended to meet ARPA compliance and efficiency goals for the Attick Towers renovation (please see above – 23-G-119). Redgate, known for their outstanding services on previous projects, provided a scope and cost estimate. The contract requires a Council vote to override the bid process. The Council will consider approving a contract with Redgate for project management services for the infrastructure upgrade of Attick Towers. The Council also approved this agreement at its Tuesday meeting.
