City Council has allocated $1.25 million in ARPA funds for essential repairs and renovations at Attick Towers, a senior housing facility operated by HACCP. This funding and approximately $615,000 from other sources will address critical building system and common element needs, such as plumbing, elevators, boilers, and HVAC systems. Individual unit renovations will be funded separately. A Subrecipient Agreement with HACCP, similar to previous agreements, is necessary to meet US Treasury reporting requirements for ARPA funds. The Council approved this agreement at its Tuesday meeting.
Additionally, a project manager is recommended to meet ARPA compliance and efficiency goals for the Attick Towers renovation (please see above – 23-G-119). Redgate, known for their outstanding services on previous projects, provided a scope and cost estimate. The contract requires a Council vote to override the bid process. The Council will consider approving a contract with Redgate for project management services for the infrastructure upgrade of Attick Towers. The Council also approved this agreement at its Tuesday meeting.
