The Prince George’s Planning Department is excited to announce a series of upcoming community engagement workshops and a survey aimed at assessing the compatibility of the 2022 Zoning Ordinance with desired land use. Project Background
In December 2023, the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission initiated the Central U.S. 1 Neighborhood Compatibility project by releasing a solicitation for consulting services. Following a thorough selection process, the Commission entered into a contract with Design Collective Inc. on March 22, 2024.
Design Collective Inc. will work closely with the Prince George’s County Planning Department, residents, and key stakeholders over a ten-month period beginning May 2024 to develop this crucial study.
