Prince George’s County’s Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) is currently updating its Vision Zero Action Plan, and residents are invited to participate in an upcoming Virtual Community Listening Session. Vision Zero is a safety initiative aimed at eliminating traffic deaths and serious injuries while making roads safer for everyone—including drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit users.

The virtual session will provide an opportunity for community members to learn more about the Vision Zero initiative and review elements of the County’s draft Action Plan. Participants will also be able to share their experiences and ideas about roadway safety and help shape solutions that can prevent traffic crashes and serious injuries in our communities.

The session will take place on March 25, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Residents interested in participating can register online at: bit.ly/PGCVZ_Community.

Community input plays an important role in shaping transportation policies and safety improvements. If you care about safer streets and reducing traffic fatalities in Prince George’s County, this listening session is a great opportunity to share your perspective and help guide the County’s efforts moving forward.
