MapQuest recently started a local social mapping service, called mqVibe. The website lists every local neighborhoods with scores in several categories, such as popularity, going out, residential, burby, edgy and walkabilty.
Among the neighborhoods, Old town College Park did the best – scoring 8.1; all other neighborhoods in the city scored 5 or less.
Overall the city did fairly poor compared to other local cities, such as Arlington, Georgetown, etc – each scoring 10/10.
