The College Park Community Library opened at the basement of the Church of the Nazarene on Feb. 22, 2012. Joe Smith and Jackie Kelly were the founders and co-directors at the time the library opened.
The library opened with donations of 800 books today there are close to 9,000 books on the shelves. As you can see, from the latest Calendar of Events below, the library has expanded its services to not only checking out books but to having programs that benefit the local community.
Recently, Sarah Caudill joined the library in 2016 as a volunteer. Stop in and meet Sarah on Tuesday afternoons she is at the library from 1-4:00. Sarah offers Story Time in French please let Sarah know you would like to hear stories in French.
The library is always looking for ways to improve our services to the community and we welcome your ideas and suggestion.
Let’s take our time to thank our Library Staff for their continued service to the community.
