We are thrilled to share some exciting news—College Park Academy (CPA) has once again earned national recognition as one of America’s Best High Schools by U.S. News & World Report for 2025!
This year’s rankings highlight the remarkable progress and dedication of our school community:
#1 in Prince George’s County – the only county school to place in Maryland’s top 50. #16 in Maryland – a dramatic rise from #30 last year. #856 in the Nation – climbing from #1,691, placing CPA in the top 5% of high schools nationwide. 100% Graduation Rate – continuing to lead in Maryland and across the country.
These outstanding results reflect the commitment of CPA’s students, families, teachers, principals, and staff, who work tirelessly to build an environment of excellence, innovation, and support. Together, they have created a model of public education that prepares every student for college, careers, and lifelong success.
I want to extend my sincere congratulations to CPA students, Principal Libby, Principal Baker, Executive Director Sandy Abu-Arja, and the entire CPA team for this incredible achievement.
