Spring is here, and that means it’s time to clear out the clutter and freshen up our homes and neighborhoods! The City of College Park is once again hosting its popular Cleanup Saturdays at the Department of Public Works—and this is a great opportunity to responsibly dispose of items you no longer need.

Join us on the following dates:

🗓️ April 11, 18, 25 & May 16

⏰ 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM

📍 Public Works Facility (9217 51st Ave)

Residents can drop off a wide range of items, including bulky trash, electronics, and yard waste. Best of all, there are no bulk limits and no appliance fees, making it easier than ever to tackle those spring cleaning projects. (Please note: a $4 fee per tire still applies.)

✨ Special Event: Document Shredding

Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 16, when secure document shredding will also be available:

⏰ 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Residents only)

It’s a perfect chance to safely dispose of old sensitive documents while you’re already on-site.

⚠️ A few reminders:

Proof of College Park residency is required Some materials are not accepted—please check guidelines in advance

This program is a great way to keep our community clean, reduce waste, and make disposal easy and accessible for everyone. Take advantage of these dates and give your home—and our city—a fresh start this spring!
