The City has recently updated the final schedule for the leaf collection around the city. In north College Park, crews will make the collection next week for the last time.
According to staff, the Curbside Leaf Collection is behind the posted schedule due to the immense amount of leaves. The leaf machines are filling quickly and must be unloaded frequently, thereby slowing the collection process.
Last week, the crews are scheduled collecting in SA8–College Park Woods, and anticipate starting SA5–Rhode Island Ave West later this week (weather dependent). Please check website to see if there are any updates to calendar .
