Get ready for a sweet and educational afternoon at the National History Day Ice Cream Social! On Sunday, June 8, from noon to 3:00 p.m., join us at the museum for a family-friendly celebration that brings history—and ice cream—to life.
Children will enjoy a free scoop of ice cream courtesy of the UMD Dairy, generously sponsored by the UMD Center for Community Engagement. It’s a delicious way to cool off while celebrating our shared past.
Inside the museum, educators will lead interactive activities and hands-on experiences that blend history with science, giving kids a fun and engaging way to explore the gallery. From aviation artifacts to exciting experiments, there’s something for everyone.
🍦 Limit one free scoop per child while supplies last.
📝 No registration required—just bring your curiosity and your sweet tooth!
We hope to see you there!
