Mark your calendars! College Park Day is coming up on Saturday, October 5th, from 12:00 to 6:00 pm at the College Park Aviation Museum and Airport (1985 Corporal Frank Scott Drive). This annual community festival is a favorite, and best of all, it’s packed with free activities and entertainment for all ages!
This year’s event features live entertainment across two stages, along with a new community performance area. The main stage will host live bands, while the family stage will provide fun entertainment for kids and families. The community performance area will showcase local cultural dances and traditions throughout the day.
You can also look forward to special guests including clowns, mimes, jugglers, stilt walkers, and face painters. Kids will love the climbing wall, bounce houses, inflatable obstacle course, pumpkin painting, and big wheel races (for kids up to 8 years old or under 50 inches tall).
If you’re an aviation enthusiast, don’t miss the chance to check out the College Park Aviation Museum’s exhibits, which will be open for free on College Park Day. There’s also a thrilling helicopter fly-in to enjoy!
Of course, the event wouldn’t be complete without a wide range of food and drink options. Local restaurants, food trucks, and breweries will be on-site to offer delicious bites and drinks throughout the day.
Parking is free and readily available nearby, with a complimentary shuttle service from select locations. If you prefer to bike, there will be bike racks on-site, and the event is just a short walk from the College Park-UMD Metro Station on the Green Line.

Come join the fun and celebrate all that makes College Park a great place to live and play!
