At last week’s City Council meeting, the City Council opposed the Detailed Site Plan (DSP) to build a storage facility on Route 1 in north College Park. Several residents spoke at the meeting opposing the plan. We also got several emails from residents, all opposing the plan. MD Delegate Joseline Pena-Melnik also sent a letter to the Mayor and Council with her opposition. In the end, the Council voted to oppose the plan (5-2, Councilmembers Day and Kennedy supporting).
