Prince George’s County’s Blue Lights Nights events are happening today, Friday, September 25, and tomorrow, Saturday, September 26. These gatherings give residents a chance to meet local police officers, enjoy community activities, and build connections across our neighborhoods.

Two nearby District I events may be of particular interest to College Park residents:

  • Tonight, September 25: Bingo at St. James Church, 3628 Rhode Island Avenue in Mount Rainier, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
  • Tomorrow, September 26: “Officers with a Mission” at Mission BBQ, 5506 Cherrywood Lane in Greenbelt, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Events are also planned across the county both days, including community nights, safety activities, and family entertainment. I encourage residents to stop by an event, say hello, and get to know the officers and neighbors who help make our communities stronger.
