A Prosperous 2021
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought so many changes and challenges to the lives of our neighbors. That said, I wish you and your families for a prosperous new year in 2021.In North College Park, we hope to see some of the ongoing projects getting completed in the new year.
- After many years of delays, the Hollywood Gateway Park finally opened last fall. This year, we should see a few more amenities being added to north College Park.
- The Hollywood Dog Park should be ready for use around early summer this year.
- The City Council is expected to award the construction contract of the much-awaited Hollywood Streetscape project at the February 23 meeting.
- Also, early next month, we hope to award the contract for the design of the Hollywood Road Sidewalk project.
- On the Duvall Field reconstruction project, the Council has awarded the final design contract last fall. Completion of the field is planned for summer 2022.
- In the Sunnyside neighborhood, we should be also seeing Odessa Park getting constructed by this Spring.
