North College Park’s 7/11 store was hit by another robbery yesterday. The store is located at 4921 Edgewood Road.
This is the 4th time the store has been targeted in recent weeks.
After the 3rd robbery at the store, a suspect was arrested and safely placed behind bars.
According to police report, “on September 6th, 2011, at approximately 0405 hrs, the suspects committed an armed robbery at, College Park, Maryland.”

A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $1000.00 is being offered for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspects responsible for this robbery.
Despite repeated robberies, it’s unclear if the store has taken any steps to upgrade security systems since the initial armed robberies
“The fact that they are continually being targeted also poses risks to customers and other local businesses” – said one nearby resident.
