2022 3D Design & Printing Summer Program

The free 3D Design & Printing Summer Program is a 1-week in-person summer camp at the University of Maryland College Park that provides students with the opportunity to learn about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through a variety of hands-on projects. The camp will specifically use Tinkercad and 3D printers to emphasize core 7th and 8th-grade math concepts.

2 sessions will be held in July 2022 for rising 7th and rising 8th graders who attend school in Prince George’s County. The sessions will be held from July 11 – July 15, and July 25 – July 29, 2022. Each session will host a maximum of 10 students.

Parents/guardians and students should complete the application below together. Applications will be reviewed and parents/guardians will be notified of the student’s acceptance into the program. Parents/guardians and students must reside in Prince George’s County. Thanks to the generosity of Cummings Aerospace, there is no cost for the camp. Please email Mr. Bongnwi Tangyie (bongnwi@umd.edu) at the Center for Minorities in Science and Engineering with any questions.
