Spring Cleanup Saturdays

The City of College Park’s Department of Public Works facility will be open for City residents to drop-off bulky trash, block Styrofoam, electronics recycling, brush, and yard trim.

Residents can also purchase compost, wood mulch, a yard waste cart, or a backyard compost bin.

You must be a resident of the City of College Park and bring proof of City residency in order to participate, although anyone can buy compost or wood mulch during this event.

Electronics that may be recycled include, but are not limited to: TVs, computers, monitors, keyboards, computer mice, speakers, VCRs, CD, DVD & MP3 players, cell phones & PDAs, printers, scanners, fax machines, telephones, radios, stereos, electric tools, game systems, handheld games, microwaves, and cords/cables.

Hazardous materials will not be accepted (shingles, propane tanks, paint, etc.).

Residents may dispose of (for free) one of each of the following items per year: air conditioners, heat pumps, dehumidifiers, and refrigerators. Tires will incur a disposal fee of $4.00 each.

Wood mulch and Smartleaf® screened compost will also be available and you don’t need to be a resident in order to purchase. Wood mulch is $12.00 per cubic yard and Smartleaf® is $28.00 per cubic yard. (Prices include tax).
